We Say

If you asked most professional detailers to write down a wish list of features for an aggressive cutting compound, they'd likely list the following points: high cut level; well lubricated; long working time; no dust; no fillers. Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 400 embodies this set of features and is nothing short of a revelation. It cuts paint back quickly and easily, produces very little dust and does not hide residual defects. These characteristics are a welcome break from the norm, and make Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 400 one of the very best aggressive cutting compounds currently on the market.

Description

Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 400 is an aggressive professional cutting compound. It cuts paint back quickly and easily, and is thus ideal for tackling deep scratches and severe acid etching. Unlike many cutting compounds, it also finishes down well to give a sharp, high gloss finish that, in most cases, needs only minor refining with a finishing polish afterwards. Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 400 uses coarse precision-milled diminishing abrasives suspended in a base of lubricating oils. Like its siblings, it contains no fillers of any kind. Although designed with scratch-resistant clearcoats in mind, it's also suitable for use on conventional hard paint finishes in situations where maximum cut is required.

How To Use

Recommended Usage
1. Clean surface thoroughly prior to polishing.
2. Shake the bottle prior to use and apply the following quantity of the product onto the
polishing pad.
Recommendation for a 40cm x 40cm area:
Pad with a diameter of 95mm: 3-4 pea-sized drops
Pad with a diameter of 150mm: 5 pea-sized drops
Pad with a diameter of 180mm: 6-7 pea-sized drops
3. Use the Menzerna Heavy Cut Foam Pad or Menzerna Lambswool Pad in the event of
heavy signs of use. With a rotary polishing machine use our Menzerna Standard Lambswool Pad and, for
an orbital polishing machine, our Menzerna Orbital Wool Pad.
4. Use either a rotary or an orbital polishing machine and use the cross-coating method.
Work in the beginning with low machine speed and apply strong pressure while polishing. In the last cycles
reduce the pressure and increase the speed of the polishing machine
