Description

Koch Chemie F6.01 Fine Cut Compound is a precision polish engineered to remove light to moderate defects while refining the surface to a deep, showroom gloss. Optimised abrasive technology levels P2500-grade sanding marks, swirl marks, holograms, and light oxidation with minimal effort, making it ideal for both professional detailers and enthusiasts seeking fast, predictable paint correction.

Formulated for clean working and control, Koch Chemie F6.01 generates low dust, offers a long open time, and wipes off easily—so you see the true finish as you work. It’s silicone-free and filler-free for genuine correction in body shop environments, and it’s compatible with all modern paint systems, including conventional clear coats, scratch-resistant finishes, nano-technology clear coats, and repaints. Use with rotary or dual-action/forced-orbital machines, or apply by hand for spot repairs; pair with foam or microfibre pads to fine-tune cut and finish.

Key Benefits

- Removes P2500 and finer sanding marks, swirls, holograms, and light oxidation while delivering a high-gloss finish

- Low-dust, long working time for clean, efficient polishing and clear surface visibility

- Silicone and filler-free; safe for body shops and accurate finish assessment

- Versatile across paint systems (conventional, scratch-resistant, nano clear coats) and tools (rotary, DA, forced-orbital, hand)

- Pad-flexible: tune aggressiveness with foam or microfibre pads for precise results

- Smooth, creamy workability with easy wipe-off to reduce cleanup time

- Manufactured in Germany to Koch Chemie’s professional standards for consistent performance

For best results, prime the pad, apply 2–3 small drops per 40×40 cm section, work at moderate speed and pressure until defects are levelled, then reduce pressure for a final refining pass and wipe down.

Follow with a micro finishing polish (e.g., Koch Chemie M3.02 Micro Cut) only if ultimate jewelling is required.

How To Use

Preparation: Ensure the vehicle's paint is clean, dry, and free of contaminants.

Application: Apply a small amount of F6.01 to a polishing pad.

Polishing: Work the compound into the paint using a DA or rotary polisher with overlapping passes. Start with moderate pressure and speed, gradually reducing pressure as the finish refines. For hand application, use a foam applicator pad and work in small sections with firm, even pressure.

Residue Removal: Wipe away any remaining residue with a clean microfibre towel.

Inspection: Inspect the finish under good lighting to ensure all imperfections have been removed. Repeat the process if necessary.

Finish: Follow up with Koch Chemie M3.02 finishing polish for an even more refined look or apply your chosen wax or sealant.
