How To Use

Alchemy® Duck Tail is a professional-grade spray-on wet coat designed to add a slick, water-repellent layer to your car’s exterior immediately after washing. This quick-application hydrophobic coating helps protect paintwork, enhance gloss, and make future washes easier.

1. Wash Your Vehicle Thoroughly
Begin with a complete exterior wash using a pH-neutral car shampoo to remove dirt, road film, and contaminants. Rinse well to ensure the surface is clean and free from soap residue.

2. Apply While the Surface is Still Wet
With the vehicle still wet, shake the Alchemy® Duck Tail bottle and lightly mist the product directly onto one panel at a time (e.g., bonnet, doors, roof). Avoid applying in direct sunlight or to hot panels, as this can cause streaking.

3. Activate the Coating with Water
Immediately after spraying, use a strong stream of clean water (preferably from a pressure washer) to rinse the panel. This action activates the hydrophobic polymers, bonding them to the paint, glass, or trim.

4. Dry the Vehicle
Use a clean, soft microfibre drying towel to remove any remaining water. You’ll notice water beading and sheeting instantly — a sign the coating is working.

5. Repeat as Needed
Continue panel by panel until the entire car is treated. For best results, reapply Duck Tail wet coat every 4–6 weeks or after several washes.
