Description
Carbon Collective Nero Self-Healing Ceramic Coating is a diamond-infused, ultra-hydrophobic coating designed to become the active protective layer on top of painted, PPF and vinyl wrapped finishes. Once cured, it enhances the finish, improves resistance to contamination and helps protect against chemicals, UV exposure, bird droppings and minor scratching.
Nero can be used as a standalone coating for up to 5 years protection, or used as a topcoat over Molecule 9H to increase scratch resistance and extend durability up to 7 years as a combined system.

How To Use
Important: Nero is a professional ceramic coating. Correct preparation and controlled application conditions are essential for best durability and finish.
1) Wash & decontaminate: Thoroughly wash the vehicle and remove bonded contamination so the surface is fully clean and smooth.
2) Correct the paint (recommended): Machine polishing is recommended to maximise gloss and ensure the coating bonds to clean, defect-free paint rather than oxidation or fillers.
3) Panel wipe: Use a suitable panel wipe to remove polishing oils and residues. This step is crucial for consistent bonding and durability.
4) Apply in sections: Using the supplied applicators, apply a thin, even layer to a small section at a time (one panel or half a large panel). Work methodically for even coverage.
5) Flash & level: Allow the coating to flash, then level/buff with a clean microfibre towel. Follow with a second towel to reduce the risk of high spots. Flash time will vary with temperature and humidity.
6) Cure properly: Keep the vehicle dry during initial curing. Avoid detergents/chemicals for around 7 days while the coating fully hardens.
7) Self-healing activation: The self-healing process is activated by heating the surface to help reduce the appearance of light swirls, marring and minor scratches.
