We Say
A decent short trigger changes the whole feel of pressure washing a car. You stop fighting a long, awkward lance, you can work closer to the panel with better control, and wheel arches / underbody areas suddenly become far easier to hit cleanly without contorting your wrists.
The Carbon Collective ST Stainless Short Trigger is built like a proper “system” rather than just a generic stubby gun. The stainless fittings and brass internal construction give it the sort of durability you want if this is going to live on your wash setup, and the swivel hose connection is a bigger deal than it sounds — it removes that constant hose-twist that makes most guns feel clumsy and tiring on longer washes.
We also like the attention to usability: the trigger action is light and precise, the handle has a grippy texture for wet hands, and the quick-release area is designed to make swapping nozzles less of a battle (while also helping reduce the chance of accidental marring when you’re working close to paint).
In our opinion, this is one of those upgrades you feel immediately. If you want a more controlled, professional pressure washing experience — especially for arches, sills and awkward areas — this is exactly the sort of kit that makes the whole wash process smoother and more enjoyable.
Key Features
Description
The Carbon Collective ST Stainless Short Trigger is a premium pressure washer short-trigger system engineered to improve control, access and comfort during vehicle washing. Built with stainless steel fittings and a brass internal construction, it’s designed for long-term reliability in enthusiast and professional detailing setups.
The key performance upgrade is the stainless swivel hose connection, which helps eliminate hose kinks and constant twisting while you work around the vehicle. This reduces fatigue, prevents unnecessary strain on hose fittings, and makes the whole setup feel far more fluid — particularly when cleaning wheel arches, underbody areas and tight spaces where a standard long gun becomes awkward.
Designed as a complete system, the ST Stainless Short Trigger integrates with quick-release fittings and is intended to be used with compatible accessories such as nozzles, turbo nozzles and foam lances. The quick-release area is designed for easy handling even when wet, helping you swap between rinse and foam stages quickly and safely.
Ideal for:
✓ Improving control and access for wheel arches, sills and underbody areas
✓ Reducing hose twist with a swivel hose connection
✓ Faster accessory changes via 1/4" quick release outlet
✓ Building a more “pro-feel” pressure washing setup
Useful pairings (all available on PolishedBliss):
✓ Active™ Premium Foam Cannon for thick, consistent pre-wash foam
✓ PA Foam Lance as a proven, high-performance alternative foam lance option
✓ Active™ Premium Swivel Pressure Washer Gun if you want to compare another top-tier trigger option

How To Use
1) Choose the correct fitting.
Select the version that matches your pressure washer hose connection (Karcher / Kranzle M22 / Nilfisk). If you’re unsure, check your hose outlet type before ordering.
2) Seal threaded fittings.
If you’re assembling threaded connections, seal them with PTFE tape (or a suitable thread sealant). This helps prevent small leaks and protects threads over time.
3) Connect the hose and test.
With the machine off, connect the hose to the swivel inlet and ensure everything is seated correctly. Turn on the pressure washer and briefly test spray away from the vehicle to confirm there are no leaks.
4) Pick the right nozzle/orifice size (important).
The nozzle orifice affects how your pressure washer loads and performs:
✓ 0.3 for lower-flow household units (typically 6 LPM and below)
✓ 0.4 for higher-flow professional setups (typically 7 LPM and above)
Using the correct orifice helps avoid load issues and keeps performance where it should be.
5) Work safely around paintwork.
Keep a sensible distance, avoid holding the jet stationary on one spot, and use controlled passes — especially around badges, edges, trims and older resprayed areas.
6) Swap accessories as needed.
The 1/4" quick release outlet makes it easy to switch between rinse nozzles, turbo nozzles and foam lances. Always double-check the quick release is fully engaged before spraying.
7) After use.
Depressurise the system, disconnect, and store the gun dry. This helps keep seals healthy and prevents grime building up around the swivel and quick-release mechanism.
