CarPro ALLiN All-in-One Polish & Paint Protection

Not every vehicle needs a full, multi-stage paint correction. Sometimes the aim is simply to remove the majority of light defects, restore some gloss and leave the paintwork protected, all without spending an entire day behind a machine polisher. That's where a good all-in-one polish can be particularly useful.

CARPRO ALLiN has been developed with exactly this approach in mind. It combines the cutting and refining ability of a machine polish with a hydrophobic protective finish, effectively bringing three stages of detailing together into one product.

What makes ALLiN interesting is its claimed correction capability. CARPRO states that it can remove defects equivalent to P2500 sanding marks, which gives it considerably more potential than a basic gloss-enhancing finishing polish. The actual level of correction will depend on the paint hardness, polishing pad, machine and technique, but there's enough cutting ability here to make a meaningful improvement to lightly and moderately defected finishes.

Equally important is the finishing performance. There isn't much point removing swirl marks if you then need a second polishing stage to restore the gloss. ALLiN is designed to refine the surface as it corrects, leaving a clear, glossy finish with an added layer of hydrophobic protection.

We particularly like the flexibility offered by the pad selection. CARPRO recommends its Ultra Pad for harder paintwork or deeper defects, while the Orange Pad is better suited to lighter correction or softer finishes. That gives you some control over the balance between cutting power and finishing quality without changing polish.

One important difference from conventional compounds is how the protection works. When using ALLiN as a standalone treatment, you should leave its protective layer intact after polishing. There's no need to follow it with a solvent panel wipe simply to remove polishing oils, as this would interfere with the protection you've just applied. CARPRO specifies that the hydrophobic finish develops its full water repellency after 24 hours.

However, if you're planning to apply a ceramic coating afterwards, the approach changes. In that situation, ALLiN can be used for correction, but CARPRO recommends a dedicated wipe-down with CARPRO Eraser to remove the residual protective ingredients and prepare the paintwork for coating. For a dedicated coating preparation detail, we'd generally prefer a conventional polish that doesn't intentionally leave protection behind.

There's no separate wax or sealant stage to worry about, and the combination of correction, gloss and water repellency makes it ideal for single-stage enhancement details.
