We Say

Serious cleaning power from remarkably little product. RinseX makes a proper maintenance wash possible without reaching for the hose.

Rinseless washing has become an increasingly useful part of modern detailing. Whether you're working somewhere without convenient access to a hose, cleaning a vehicle during winter or simply trying to make your regular wash routine more efficient, being able to clean a car safely with a bucket and a few towels is a genuine advantage.

CARPRO RinseX has been developed specifically for this type of washing. Rather than being a conventional shampoo used at a stronger dilution, it's a dedicated rinseless cleaner that combines powerful cleaning agents with the lubrication needed to lift contamination away from vehicle surfaces with minimal mechanical contact.

What caught our attention immediately was the concentration. CARPRO recommends dilution ratios ranging from 1:300 to 1:400 for bucket washing, meaning you only need around 30 to 40ml of concentrate in a 12-litre bucket. That's impressively economical, particularly if you're washing vehicles regularly.

Of course, concentration isn't everything. A rinseless wash also needs to deal with the oily road film and general contamination that conventional car shampoos would normally help carry away during rinsing. RinseX has been formulated to break down these deposits while providing a slick washing solution that allows suitable wash media to glide across the surface.

One distinction we particularly like is that RinseX isn't trying to double as a spray sealant or gloss enhancer. Unlike CARPRO ECH2O, which incorporates SiO2-based glossing ingredients, RinseX focuses on cleaning without intentionally depositing additional protection. That makes it an appealing choice for customers who want to maintain the existing appearance and water-repellent behaviour of their wax, sealant or ceramic coating.

It's also more versatile than the name might suggest. The same concentrate can be prepared as a pre-soak to soften road grime before contact washing, or used at an appropriate dilution to lubricate a clay towel during decontamination. CARPRO also identifies post-polishing residue removal as a suitable application.

We'd particularly recommend using a pre-soak when the vehicle is carrying visible road film. Spraying the solution across the panel before washing helps loosen contamination and reduces the amount of cleaning work required from the towel or sponge itself. It's a small extra step, but one that makes good sense when you're relying on a rinseless washing process.

Technique remains important. We wouldn't recommend taking a single dirty towel around an entire vehicle, however slick the product might be. Use dedicated rinseless wash media, keep plenty of clean material available and work panel by panel with minimal pressure. If a vehicle is heavily contaminated with grit, mud or abrasive deposits, a conventional pre-rinse is still the sensible option.

After each panel has been cleaned, remove the remaining moisture with a suitable drying towel. The CARPRO DHydrate range is particularly useful here, helping complete the process without a separate water rinse.

For us, RinseX is a really appealing addition to the CARPRO wash range. It's concentrated, versatile and designed around effective cleaning rather than adding another layer of unnecessary finishing ingredients. Whether you're already a rinseless washing convert or looking for an efficient alternative to traditional washing, it's certainly a product we'd consider keeping in the detailing kit.

Description

CARPRO RinseX is an ultra-concentrated rinseless car wash developed for efficient maintenance cleaning without the need for a conventional water rinse.

Its advanced, highly lubricated cleaning formula breaks down road grime, traffic film and oily contamination while allowing dedicated rinseless wash media to lift dirt away from compatible vehicle surfaces. Designed to preserve existing paint protection, RinseX cleans without adding unnecessary gloss enhancers, silicones or additional protective ingredients.

With bucket-wash dilution ratios between 1:300 and 1:400, RinseX is exceptionally economical. The same concentrate can also be used for pre-soaking, clay towel lubrication and post-polishing cleaning, making it a versatile addition to any detailing kit.

Why you'll love it:
✓ Highly concentrated rinseless car wash
✓ Cleans without a traditional water rinse
✓ Breaks down traffic film, road grime and oily dirt
✓ Excellent lubrication for safe, controlled washing
✓ Helps preserve existing waxes, sealants and ceramic coatings
✓ No added gloss enhancers, silicones or protection agents
✓ Non-foaming formula designed for rinseless washing
✓ Bucket-wash dilution from 1:300 to 1:400
✓ Approximately 30-40ml per 12L wash bucket
✓ Suitable for pre-soaking before contact washing
✓ Can also be used for clay towel lubrication
✓ Suitable for post-polishing residue removal
✓ Ideal where hose or pressure-washer access is limited
✓ Available in 500ml and 1L sizes

How does it compare with ECH2O? CARPRO ECH2O is designed for waterless cleaning and gloss enhancement, using SiO2-based ingredients to improve the finish. RinseX is a dedicated rinseless wash that focuses on cleaning and lubrication without deliberately adding protection.

For regular hose washing: CARPRO Reset is the traditional shampoo alternative, developed for cleaning protected paintwork using a conventional bucket wash followed by rinsing.

Complete the wash: Dry each cleaned panel using a suitable soft towel, such as those in the drying towel collection, before moving to the next section.

Please note: Rinseless washing is best suited to lightly or moderately contaminated vehicles. Remove heavy grit, mud and abrasive deposits with a conventional pre-rinse before making contact with the paintwork.

How To Use

1) Assess the vehicle:
Check the level of contamination before beginning. Rinseless washing is particularly suited to routine maintenance, but heavy grit, mud and abrasive deposits should be removed using a conventional pre-rinse where possible.

2) Prepare a pre-soak:
For additional cleaning, dilute RinseX between 1:300 and 1:150 in a pump sprayer. CARPRO recommends approximately 5-10ml of concentrate with 1.5L of water.

3) Pre-soak the surface:
Spray the solution liberally over the area being cleaned and allow it to dwell briefly, softening grime and breaking down oily contamination before contact washing. Do not allow the solution to dry.

4) Prepare the wash bucket:
Dilute RinseX between 1:400 and 1:300, depending on contamination. CARPRO recommends approximately 30-40ml in a bucket containing 12L of water.

5) Soak the wash media:
Immerse a dedicated rinseless wash sponge or suitable microfibre towels in the prepared solution. Wring out excess liquid so the wash media remains wet but is not excessively dripping.

6) Wash one section at a time:
Using minimal pressure, make one gentle pass across the selected panel. Turn the wash media to a clean side and repeat as necessary to remove any remaining contamination.

7) Keep wash media clean:
Change to a fresh towel face or clean wash media regularly. Never continue washing with a visibly dirty surface that could drag abrasive contamination across the paintwork.

8) Dry the panel:
Once the section is clean, dry it completely using a suitable soft microfibre drying towel. There is no need for a separate water rinse.

9) Continue around the vehicle:
Repeat the wash and dry process one section at a time until the vehicle is clean.

10) Other applications:
RinseX can also be used for clay towel lubrication and post-polishing residue removal. Use the dilution and procedure appropriate to the task, following current CARPRO guidance.
