Whilst ceramic coatings are becoming easier and seemingly less fussy when it comes to application, preparation is still highly important. Ensuring the paintwork is clean and free of contaminants, polished, and finally free of oils and greases that could prevent the coating from fully bonding is necessary really, unless you're happy with the condition of the paintwork then you could potentially skip the polishing part.

Usually, it would be the norm to pick up something like GYEON Q2M Prep and wipe down the surface before coating to free it of polishing oils and other greases, DegreaseTabs offer an alternative solution. We must stress here, DegreaseTabs do not replace Prep, it is still very much alive and kicking! It's just an alternative.

Whilst Prep is sprayed and wiped down, very much like a quick detailer, DegreaseTabs are tablets that are dissolved in water to make a degreasing wash solution and could come in handy with certain solutions.

Description

GYEON Q2M DegreaseTabs are dissolvable tablets that make a wash solution to clean and degrease your paintwork after machine polishing. DegreaseTabs help to breakdown and remove oils and greases left behind from polishing. These contaminants can prevent ceramic coatings from fully bonding and cause premature failing. Once clean and dry, DegreaseTabs leave the paintwork ready for the application of GYEON Q2 Primer or ceramic coatings.

How To Use

Dissolve 2x DegreaseTabs in a separate container with hot water (60 degrees +) and then add the solution to your wash bucket.

Wash the vehicle in the normal manner. Once complete the vehicle will be ready for Q2 Primer or the application of a ceramic coating.
