Nanolex Convertible Top Sealant is an easy to use nanotechnology coating that lays down a highly durable barrier layer of C6 fluorocarbon polymers on fabric convertible tops. These polymers impart extreme water repellency, resist everyday soiling and staining, impede the formation of algae and mildew, and protect the fabric against fading caused by harmful UV rays from the sun. Treated surfaces therefore stay cleaner and fresher looking for longer, reducing the need for routine maintenance (we recommend reapplying Nanolex Convertible Top Sealant twice a year).

Description
Nanolex Convertible Top Sealant is an advanced textile coating that forms a semi-permanent water and oil repellent barrier on fabric convertible tops. Developed in Germany, it uses a solvent-based delivery system to lay down a self-organising micro-film of C6 fluorocarbon polymers that dries to form an invisible and fully breathable coating that chemically bonds to treated surfaces at the molecular level. Following application, rainfall simply beads up and rolls off of treated surfaces, taking freshly deposited contaminants with it (akin to the Lotus Effect in nature).

How To Use
For best results, fabric surfaces to be treated with Nanolex Convertible Top Sealant must be spotlessly clean and completely dry before use. Working in a warm, dry place out of direct sunlight, Nanolex Convertible Top Sealant should be sprayed on liberally and then rubbed in well with gloved hands before being left to dry for half an hour. Once dry, a further application should be made to ensure that maximum protection is achieved. Any overspray on to adjacent surfaces should be wiped away immediately with a Nanolex Microfiber Buffing Towel. In order to get the best performance and quoted durability from the resulting finish, allow it to cure for a further 24 hours before using your car or exposing the treated surfaces to the elements.
