We Say
The RUPES Mille Ultra Fine Foam Polishing Pad is designed specifically for use with the RUPES LK 900E BigFoot Mille and other gear-driven dual action polishers, and is currently available in two different sizes. Both sizes are made out of the same ultra-fine open cell foam and feature an ultra-low-profile design that improves stability and control during the polishing process. This design also features a durable hook and loop backing and a strongly splayed side profile for safety. Although the foam looks very similar to that used for the ultra-fine versions of the BigFoot and Nano iBrid foam polishing pads, it is in fact a brand new proprietary formulation designed specifically to withstand the punishing forces generated by gear-driven movements. The RUPES Mille Ultra Fine Foam Polishing Pad is the pad to reach for when you are seeking perfection. When used in conjunction with an ultra-fine finishing polish, it smooths out micro-defects and creates the flattest possible finish, thus making paint look as deep and glossy as physically possible. This process takes time and requires patience, but the quality of the end result always makes it worthwhile.

Description
The RUPES Mille Ultra Fine Foam Polishing Pad is manufactured using an ultra-high quality foam engineered specifically for burnishing modern paint systems to perfection with the RUPES LK 900E BigFoot Mille and other gear-driven dual action polishers. As it is designed for refining duties, this foam is thermally reticulated and features an ultra-fine open cell structure. This structure results in a burnishing action with outstanding finishing qualities, and allows air to circulate through the pad freely, thus enabling frictional heat to be quickly dispersed. In order to take full advantage of the powerful gear-driven movement and maximise the transfer of kinetic energy from the polisher to the work surface, the RUPES Mille Ultra Fine Foam Polishing Pad features a low-profile design that performs predictably and consistently without distorting excessively under heavy loads. The RUPES Mille Ultra Fine Foam Polishing Pad also features a splayed side profile with a bevelled lower lip, which improves safety when working in tight spots, and a durable hook and loop backing specifically designed to be able to withstand gear-driven movements and high levels of torque. The RUPES Mille Ultra Fine Foam Polishing Pad is currently available in two different sizes.

How To Use
General usage notes: (i) always select the least aggressive pad you think you will need to achieve the desired result, and step up one grade at a time if more cut is required (ii) always ensure that you centre each pad properly on the backing plate (this can take several attempts to get right, but is vital if the machine is to remain perfectly balanced during use); (iii) always use an appropriate sized pad for the backing plate you are using (the pad should always protrude past the edge of the backing plate, never the other way around); (iv) always prime a new pad by loading it with 4 lines of product (from the centering hole to the edge, forming a cross with a missing centre) and running it stationary on the paint for 30 seconds at low speed; (v) always ensure that spent polish residue on the face of the pad is brushed off regularly during use using a RUPES BigFoot Claw Pad Tool (failure to follow this advice can lead to micromarring of the finish, so don't be lazy!); (vi) after use, soak each pad in a bucket of PB Snappy Clean Boost solution for 15 minutes and then rinse under fresh running water (using your fingertips to massage out any remaining polish residue) and allow to dry naturally, and; (vii) while not in use, store in a dry, dust-free environment (lidded plastic storage boxes are ideal in this respect).
