Tyres can be surprisingly difficult to clean properly. Old dressings, road grime and the brown discolouration that gradually develops on rubber can become firmly embedded in the sidewalls. A quick spray with a cleaner isn't always enough, especially when you're preparing the tyre for a fresh application of dressing.
The CARPRO TyreBrush has been designed to provide the agitation needed for a proper deep clean. Its medium-stiff, 25mm nylon bristles are firm enough to work into tyre lettering and textured sidewalls, helping loosen stubborn deposits that ordinary washing can leave behind.
What makes it particularly useful is that it isn't limited to tyres. The compact brush head can also reach between alloy wheel spokes and into the wheel barrel, making it a versatile addition to your wheel cleaning kit.
We particularly like the protective rubber edging around the head. When you're working close to wheel spokes and rims, it's easy to accidentally catch the edge of a brush against the finish. The rubber surround provides an additional layer of protection against those little knocks, although we'd still recommend using sensible care on delicate wheel surfaces.
For tyre cleaning, we'd pair it with CARPRO ReTyre. The cleaner helps break down old dressings, browning and accumulated contamination, while the brush provides the mechanical agitation needed to release stubborn deposits.

How To Use
1) Rinse the surface:
Thoroughly rinse the tyres or wheels to remove loose grit and abrasive contamination before using the brush.
2) Apply a suitable cleaner:
For tyres, apply CARPRO ReTyre according to its instructions. For compatible wheel surfaces, use an appropriate wheel cleaner such as CARPRO WheelX.
3) Agitate the surface:
Use the medium-stiff bristles to work the cleaner into tyre sidewalls or accessible sections of the wheel barrel. Apply controlled pressure and avoid aggressive scrubbing on delicate surfaces.
4) Rinse thoroughly:
Rinse away the loosened contamination and cleaning solution. Repeat if necessary, particularly when removing accumulated tyre dressings.
5) Clean the brush:
Rinse the bristles thoroughly after use to remove trapped dirt and chemical residues. Allow the brush to dry before storage.
